2018 CHAN: Nigeria beats Equatorial Guinea 3 - 1, to qualify for quarter-finals

Nigeria Super Eagles has qualified to the quarter-final at the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.

The Super Eagles defeated Equatorial Guinea 3-1 in their final group game on Tuesday night, to seal qualification as Group C winners.

Salisu Yusuf’s men who were shocked after conceding the first goal five minutes before the break.

Meanwhile, Anthony Okpotu levelled the game in the 58th minute of the match.

Ojo Solomon and Rabiu Ali also added two more goals, as Nigeria put the match beyond reach.

Similarly, Libya finished second in the group, after a 1-0 win over Rwanda in the other game.
